Dana Czuczka, MPH, IBCLC
I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant providing breastfeeding help throughout much of Connecticut. My expertise is in providing evidence-based education and compassionate support for successful (and pain-free!) nursing. My focus and training is in helping newborns and moms establish successful breastfeeding practices plus overcoming specific issues like painful or poor latching, low milk supply, engorgement, oversupply, clogged ducts, etc.
In addition to my private practice, I work as an IBCLC at Stamford Hospital. Throughout my entire career I have been strongly committed to promoting the health and well-being of moms and their babies. I am delighted to now be directing that passion to helping our local families.
I have a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. Before becoming a lactation consultant, I worked in policy and communications at Planned Parenthood of New York City for more than a decade and also served as the Director of Special Projects for the Department of Population and Family Health at Mailman.
